She makes our home a place I love to come home to. I am so grateful for a wonderful wife who is a great friend, sounding board, encourager, and confidant. One of the benefits of this is that they spend their days together… anyways, more on that later. And they get to! She has chosen to take on the hard work of homeschooling them. People often say to us that our children’s admiration of her and love for her is so evident. At the same time, she fights for what she knows is right (our children should be grateful to have her as their mom, and they are!). ![]() I was immediately attracted to her magnetic personality that lights up a room. From that security, she was and is a strong woman. Jill was a girl who was deeply loved, by her dad and her Heavenly Father. I am blessed to have a wonderful spouse who gives me lots of grace.įrom an early age, I saw in her parents a marriage that was exemplary (but not perfect). Recently I was asked to speak at a marriage conference. We have now spent most of our lives together, and for that, I am very grateful. We met at 17, started dating at 18, married at 21, and today we celebrate 15 years of marriage! There’s nothing like growing up with your best friend, especially when she is your spouse.
